Eleanor Atkinson (Grandma) is performing in Cinderella May 4-14!
Q: What is one of your biggest dreams that you wish you could make into a reality? What would you do once this dream became real?
A: I would like to write a play that makes it to Broadway, and win a Tony for it. In order to accomplish this, I would keep writing plays, and then I would write more plays. When I settle upon a play that I consider of high quality, I will put it on in local theatres, and work my way up the theatre ladder until it is ready for Broadway.
I also really want the ability to Shape Shift and Teleport, but there's not really much I can do about achieving those two things.
Q: If you had your own magic carriage to take to the ball, what would it look like?
A: I would ride on a hippogriff to the Ball; flying, of course. (It would be the Yule Ball during the Tri-Wizard tournament.) However, though my ride to the ball would be a beautiful, snow-white hippogriff, my ride home would be a giant peony flower carried by the wind, fully equipped with a high-quality sound system a wide array of delicious food. (Dancing all night makes people very hungry)
Q: If you were to throw your own royal ball, who would you invite and why?
A: The guest list would be quite expansive. The way I would go about it: I would send a large crew to one of Jay Gatsby's fabulous parties. The crew would pass out invitations to everyone at the party. Then, the ball would be massive and we would party all night. I would also make sure to invite all the female senators and US Presidents, as well as everyone nominated for a Tony, Grammy, Oscar, or Emmy this past season.
Q: What are you looking forward to the most in this production and why?
A: I've never done a community theatre show before, so I'm most looking forward to an introduction into community theatre! I also hope to forge some friendships.
