Into the Woods Jr. Cast Interview with Jonathan Weston!

We are so excited for Into the Woods Jr. running February 22-March 4! Mark your calendars today to see Jonathan Weston as Jack in the Middle School cast of Into the Woods Jr.!

Question 1: What is your favorite fairy tale and why?

A: I really enjoy the story of Hansel and Gretel because of how unique the story is compared to other fairy tales. There isn't a prince saving the princess or a grand adventure.  In this story, the children have to work together to outwit the witch by themselves to save themselves.

Question 2: Why do you think fairy tales are still important in today's society?

A: Fairy tales are important especially today, because of all the sad news that we hear all the time.  If people have fairy tales to read, they can imagine a different place and different time and maybe not be as grumpy about real life. Using your imagination helps us create beautiful things like plays and new stories for others to enjoy.

Question 3: If you could be any fairy tale character which one would you be and why?

A: I would love to be Jack from jack and the Beanstalk.  It would be amazing to run around in the clouds and be a tiny person in a huge giant world.
