Q: What was your first experience with the Lion King story?
A: My first experience with the Lion King story was around eight years old. I was sitting down in my grandmother’s room watching this movie while she was at church one evening. I was intrigued by the playful ways of Timon, Pumbaa, Nala, and Simba, but I was inspired by the story itself. Ever Since then, I have never forgotten the adventuristic story, The Lion King.
Q: Why do you think people relate to Lion King?
A: I think people relate to the story, because everyone has had to step up as a leader in a certain area of their lives. We have all taking the precious knowledge/advice given to us to help maintain our strength in that position. Yes, it was scary to stop running away from what had to be done and take the first step, but we did it with the guidance of others. This is why the story is so relatable to everyone.
Q: What has the story of Lion King taught you?
A: The Lion King story has taught me to not be afraid, and to step up as a leader to do what is right. It has taught me that life is about taking chances, and to stop avoiding what must be done. If I don’t do it, who will?
