Q: What was your first experience with the Lion King story?
A: When I was little, before I started school, my mom and I would watch Lion King every single day. It was my favorite movie. It is still one of my favorite musicals and I still watch it all the time.
Q: Why do you think people relate to Lion King?
A: Lion King has a lot of themes, but one that stands out is the relationship between father and son, and Simba losing his father. Everyone can relate to this because everyone has one person in their lives- a friend, parent, sibling, or grandparent- that they loved and respected and have lost.
Q: What has the story of Lion King taught you?
A: The story of Lion King has taught me that you can do anything, even if it seems impossible. Simba doesn't think he can be king, and Nala doesn't think she can save Pride Rock. However, they do the very things they thought were impossible.
