Q: What was your first experience with the Lion King story?
A: My first experience with Lion King was watching the movie at my grandparent’s house and on road trips with my brother and sister. I also remember watching The Lion King 1 1/2 and The Lion King 2, which are lesser known but still amazing! The franchise was a big part of my childhood.
Q: Why do you think people relate to Lion King?
A: I think that everyone can relate to the Lion King because everyone is always so focused on the past. Lion King teaches us that in order to move forward in our lives, we must forgive ourselves and each other. We must learn from our past mistakes, but then let them go.
Q: What has the story of Lion King taught you?
A: The story of the Lion King has taught me about the connection between all things, living and nonliving. Everything on this Earth is connected, and our actions will circle back and affect the world around us. When we realize this connection, we have new respect for our world and are able to have a greater appreciation for everything, from a blade of grass to the sun in the sky.
