Q: What was your first experience with the Lion King story?
A: My first experience with the Lion King was when I was around three or four and had watched the movie. After I watched the film I would constantly run around yelling the opening number. Instead of saying “nants ingonyama”, I would yell out “jalapeño”. Don’t worry, I won’t sing that in the show :)
Q: Why do you think people relate to Lion King?
A: Lion King, in my opinion, is a show that is very spiritual and tells of the hardships and troubles everyone goes through. I feel that most people can relate their ups and downs in life to those of the pride in the Lion King.
Q: What has the story of Lion King taught you?
A: The story of Lion King has taught me that you need to let go of the bad in your past and live in the present.
