Q: If you could control either love, death, water, or earth like the gods in the show, which one would you choose and why?
A: I would choose death because I could control how long a person lives. I know that sounds weird, but let me explain. If a person were terminally ill and in pain, I could allow them to die peacefully. If they are relatively healthy, they could live long lives and enjoy their grandchildren.
Q: "Why We Tell the Story" is just one of the amazing songs in Once on this Island! Why do you think telling a story through the arts is still important to society?
A: Telling the story through the arts is important because it is a fun and entertaining way to tell a story. The actors are able to immerse themselves with song and dance and excite an audience.
Q: Why are you most excited about sharing this particular story with your community?
A: This story to me correlates to the world today. Rich and poor are represented where the rich are walled off from the peasants and think that they are better. They do not believe in the peasants silly superstitions.
