Q: If you could control either love, death, water, or earth like the gods in the show, which one would you choose and why?
A: I would chose love because love is a very powerful thing. I also think love needs to be handled with care. If love gets in the wrong hands, love can get messed up. If it is in the right hands, it can be magical.
Q: "Why We Tell the Story" is just one of the amazing songs in Once on this Island! Why do you think telling a story through the arts is still important to society?
A: At first you may think you're just being entertained, but you are actually learning many things during the "telling of the story." It can be a useful tool to help kids understand some important lessons while being entertained!
Q: Why are you most excited about sharing this particular story with your community?
A: I am very excited about sharing this show with everyone especially because this show will be so beautiful and share an important message. It is also a great show to draw kids into theatre and help them understand the arts better. I am very excited because there are so many great lessons. For example, love is strong and powerful. If someone truly loves you, they will do just about anything for you.
