Stage Door Opens Arts Opportunities to All

In recreational sports, you might hear that it’s not whether you win or lose but how you play the game. It is not so different in community theater. “The ultimate goal lies in the process of theater,” said Brandon Kelly, artistic director for Stage Door Productions, a new 501(c)3 nonprofit performing arts organization housed in the Kroc Center of Memphis. “It’s like a life philosophy,” Kelly said. “It’s like it doesn’t matter what happens at the end, so long as you did your best the whole time.” ...
